TWO CHARGED IN FATAL CAR CRASH ON ELLA T. GRASSO BOULEVARD
(9/29/2006) NEW HAVEN – New Haven Police have charged two men for their involvement in a fatal motor vehicle crash. The incident occurred on 10 April 2006 at Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Legion Avenue and claimed the life of 21-year-old Emily Indorf and her unborn child.
Angel Corchado, 19, of 94 Center Street, West Haven, was arrested and charged with manslaughter in the first degree, assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, racing, reckless driving, unsafe movement, and operating under suspension. He is being held on a $500,000 bond. John Mears, 21, of 29 Spring Street, West Haven, is currently incarcerated for violation of probation and will be arrested for assault in the first degree, racing, and reckless driving.
